Heather Daughril guilty in teen sex case

Heather Daughdrill, a Bible school teacher from Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana , was arrested in November 2011  and was accused of inappropriate sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy. She was charged with 4 counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile; 8 counts of sexual battery; 3 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping; 1 count contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile; and 1 count indecent behavior with a juvenile. At the time of he arrestr she also had pending charges of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile; and 3 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping in Beauregard Parish with the same 13 year old boy.

Daughdrill,  29, of 927 Live Oak Street, Westlake, was allegedly having sexual relationship with a 13 year old boy between June and October that year. She was working as a teacher/aide at a Summer Bible school camp the boy had attended. Female teacher and male student allegedly performed sex acts on each other on multiple occasions. Daughdrill would engage in inappropriate sexual contact with the boy after picking him up from school without the parents' knowledge. Detectives also discovered several explicit text messages between Daughdrill and the 13 year old boy.

In mid September 2012 Miss Daughdrill pleaded guilty in 36th Judicial District Court to felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. She was also charged with three counts of simple kidnapping but according to the Beauregard court officials, those charges were dismissed. Daughdrill was also sentenced Thursday to five years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections. Four years were suspended. She will also be subject to five years of supervised probation, according to court records.
