SC Female Teacher Acccused of Sex With Student

Michelle Jensen, 40-year-old former teacher at Greenville County, South Carolina,  is facing more charges after investigators claim she had sex with a 17 year old male student.

Officials said an investigation into Jensen, who was a science teacher at JL Mann High School, began after another teacher reported overhearing a conversation between students. They said the investigation revealed that Jensen sent sexually explicit text messages to two students, including pictures of herself. Jensen was charged by police with two counts of unlawful dissemination of obscene material to a minor and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Last week Jensen was charged  with sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after they for an alleged sexual contact with a 17-year-old male student.

Jensen faces a total of six charges, according to county and city warrants. A judge set bond of a toal of $13,000 for the charges of sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The school district says Jensen resigned when the investigation began on November 9.
